You know Marshall for its classic guitar amps, but the brand now has its own gin. With a bottle design that nods to its considerable amp heritage, Marshall has created a London dry gin where the botanicals are macerated in Swedish neutral grain spirit for 12 hours, then distilled in large copper pots equipped with a state-of-the-art vacuum system. This lowers the temperature for the distilling process, resulting in a fresher taste. Marshall recommends drinking this gin in a Clover Club, or in its signature G&T.
Marshall Signature Gin & Tonic:
50ml Marshall London Dry Gin
100-150ml Mediterranean tonic water
15-20ml red wine
Sprig of rosemary
Pink grapefruit
Mix Marshall London Dry Gin with Mediterranean tonic water in a glass full of ice. Float the red wine on top and garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of pink grapefruit.
The taste is smooth with juniper and coriander seeds combined with complex notes of citrus.
