Maidstone Gin
From the heart of the historic town of Maidstone in Kent comes Maidstone Gin, produced by the Maiden Distillery. They use a selection of botanicals which include Juniper, angelica root, cardamom, cassia bark, coriander seed, fresh orange zest, liquorice root, marshmallow root, meadowsweet and orris root to create this subtly sweet tipple. This ought to be rather splendid in a Negroni or a G&T (you'll want to garnish it with an orange peel).

Nose
Refreshing notes of orange zest and woody juniper.
Palate
Develops sweet notes from the marshmallow root, angelica and meadowsweet.
Finish
Continued mellow sweetness.
