Pin Gin London Dry

All the way from Lincolnshire comes Pin Gin, a tasty tipple made by Bottomley Distillers. Look out for notes of black pepper, cucumber, rose, lavender, liquorice, cinnamon, almond and a flash of citrus. The botanicals are steeped for 24 hours before distillation occurs in a 35-litre alembic still, charmingly named Dotty.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The elegant floral notes arrive first, shortly followed by a kick of orange, lime and cinnamon. Later on, oily juniper develops alongside earthy notes of cucumber.

Too floral
I don't like the taste but then I don't like rose, lavender or cinnamon. It is smooth but I prefer my favourite Bombay Sapphire.

Delicious
Strawberry Pin Gin is amazing. I tried it at the food and drink festival in Stamford. Unfortunately I have not been able to buy it again. Tried on line and also the cheese cellar in Stamford.
Can you advise where I can purchase this again .

Top drawer gin for grown ups
Fantastic tipple, complex, smooth, by no means ordinary. It’s worth the premium price because it is clearly a premium product. If you want cheap, buy Gordon’s, but cheap doesn’t mean value. Try the recommended combinations of tonic and garnish - this is seriously sophisticated flavor pairing.

ok but too expensive
Flavoursome but overpriced - £36 - you have got to be kidding!

Excellent gin, low mark due to it being overpriced
Lovely gin. But too expensive for what it is. My favourite gin is Brecon Botanicals which is like £14 per bottle cheaper and is up there with Pin gin on flavour.
