This intriguing gin from Japan comes from Kyoya Shuzo, known in the country for its authentic shochu. Beginning with a base of sweet potato shochu, a selection of botanicals such as yuzu and hyuganatsu citrus fruits, juniper, and sansho pepper are added to create a marvellously fruity and zesty sipper that works well neat, mixed with tonic, or for adding a fresh twist to cocktails.
Gently sweet with bright, zesty fruit notes and crisp juniper, fresh and warming on the finish, with a prickle of peppery heat.
