Love this stuff. used to grab them at Duty Free when returning from UK. Happily it's now available in limited locales in US. Very smooth and reasonably priced. Tried a side by side with a Scottish gin and Bombay Safire. Mermaid was clear winner to my palate.
Not like any other gin we've had. Grapefruit on the nose, big citrus burst on the palate. Was in the good books after purchasing this. Bottle looks great too.
I've tried many, many gins and this is very good. Nothing beats Monkey 47, but this is as good as you'll get for the price. The moderators should be vetting the reviews better because one or two people here are making a mockery. 3 reviews by David Ely, 6 by my Emma, loads by Jenna, Jemma and Jenny all claiming this stuff is vile, which is absurd.
