Misty Isle Gin

The Misty Isle Gin from Isle of Skye Distillers (on the eponymous Inner Hebridean island) is made using 11 botanicals - juniper, orris root, liquorice root, black cubebs, coriander, grains of paradise, lemon peel, cassia bark and a secret botanical. This secretive botanical only comes from Skye. Mysterious!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Liquorice, cracked black pepper and subtly floral juniper.

Palate Cassia gives it a spicy start, while lemon and orris develop in the background, balancing the palate.

Finish Waxy orange peel and fresh juniper warmth.

Reviews for Misty Isle Gin
Outstanding, surpasses all others!
Great nose, soft on the palate and a long lasting flavour. The new bottle is the best out there. Firm favourite.

'Pour Misty for me'
Delicious gin, all I add to my gin is ice and sparkling water then let the flavours of the gin hit your taste buds.

Beautiful bottle, very smooth gin.
Absolutely beautiful - so refreshing with a high end tonic water& slice of orange. Not too overpowering and it comes in a fantastic bottle.

Same as Harris gin, close your eyes (or open them) and you can't detect anything greater than a Bombay or Beefeater.

Poor
Very poor and overpriced. Buy the vastly superior Isle Of Harris Gin.
