The Holyrood distillery in Edinburgh has quite the selection of interesting gins under the Height of Arrows banner and Heavy is no exception. To create it, the brand roasted juniper, extracting more robust (or heavy, geddit?) flavours that were then balanced by being sweetened. It's really as an Old Tom style gin, but expect it to taste a little different than most you've tried.
Lots of piney juniper accompanied by fruity sweetness.
