Gin Lane 1751 is a range of gins that hark back to the Victorian era in both style and flavour profile, created by the Bloomsbury Club and Charles Maxwell from Thames Distillers. The name is a reference to the Gin Act of 1751 and the well-known William Hogarth painting of Gin Lane. Their classic, juniper-forward London Dry Gin features 8 botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica, orris, lemon, orange, cassia bark and star anise.
A really lovely gin, I always have tonic and ice (1 gin to 3 tonic) but I always taste a new gin straight and this one is super duper. Thanks.
Coupled with the 1724 tonic and a couple of ice stones - just superb and only topped - in my humble opinion - by the Navy Strength version. Delicious.
