Elephant Dry Gin

Elephant Dry Gin is distilled in Germany using 14 botanicals that include some rather unusual but fascinating African ingredients like Baobab, the Buchu plant, Devil's Claw and African Wormwood. With the hand-crafted bottle, complete with cork stopper and an old fashioned map on the label, Elephant Dry Gin certainly captures the spirit of exploration.

Also, you know how baby oil isn't made of babies? Elephant Dry Gin isn't made of elephants either. In fact, it's actually helping them survive, as 15% of Elephant Gin's profits go to two African elephant foundations (Big Life and Space for Elephants) to support rangers who protect against poachers and run education projects in local communities. Good work!!!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Raisins, ginger and marzipan, rather Christmassy, with tart red berries and piney juniper on a dry, peppery finish.

Delicious and dry
An absolutely delicious dry gin, perfect with a neutral, or elderflower tonic, with sprig of rosemary and mint.

Good gin, expected more after reading the description and the price tag
This is a very good gin for.. Elephant lovers. Yes, it is a good GIN, nice peppery, spicy notes, but nothing really special in my opinion. For that price even 3 stars.
If you like classic gin like Bombay, Tanquery - you won't be disappointed but probably not amazed either.
If you like the "new school", less junipery gins - there are much more interesting choices. I personally love Mare and Bareksten

Disappointing for the price
This is a nice smooth dry gin but nothing more. None of the exotic notes come through for me. So for the price, I would not buy it again.

Win-gin!
Fantastic gin. A friend left us a bottle when he relocated. First gin I really thought had an amazing taste. Promptly ordered 5 bottles. Love the taste, love the bottle design, and feel like I’m helping support the elephants too. Win-win!

Great cause. Great gin.
My friend bought me this as I adore elephants and support elephant charities. I suppose I thought great idea, great project to support and I like the bottle however, the gin has now become my favourite. Love it.

Even without the amazing concept behind it, I'd gladly pay top dollar for this gin. Delicious !
