E.L.L.C. London Gin Bottling Note

The signature gin from the East London Liquor Company, a distillery based in Bow Wharf (right near Victoria Park, for those of you that know the area). This London Dry Gin is made with 100% British wheat spirits and infused with a bright selection of botanicals, including fresh lemon and grapefruit peels, cubeb berries, cardamom, coriander, angelica root and Macedonian juniper berries.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Opens with soft lemon drizzle cake and fresh, leafy coriander. This continues with subtly sweet angelica and oodles of rich, oily juniper - interestingly developing hints of olives in oil too!

Palate: Magnificently creamy mouthfeel, complimented by the crisp citrus peels and earthy juniper. The spiciness of the cardamom and cubeb comes through here - it's not in your face, but certainly quite noticeable.

Finish: Continued enjoyable oiliness, with final glimmers of refreshing juniper lasting on the finish.

East London Liquor Company London Dry Gin Reviews

Very good and a bit different

Quite a presence this has. A proper gin with a kind of oily quality. It has a particular flavour that is a bit fusty at first but it adds something to a G and T. Great value for a quality product.

Great find

Thought I would give this a go to support a local business and was very pleasantly surprised - delicious!

dry, nice fruity aftertaste.

Decent gin, nice with cocktails but decent on its own sweet large amount of aniseed that fades quickly leaving a dry yet sweet aftertaste. love the history and technicalities it described on the bottle. They should be proud of this gin.

Pound for Pound Champ

A truly delicious gin and at such a great price, pound for pound it might be the finest on the market. Plus you get the added bonus of supporting a true independent Distillery!

this is the best gin I have ever tasted

This is definitely the best gin I have ever had. The subtleties of the botanicals makes my mouth come alive and I would definitely recommend it

Go to gin

This is rapidly becoming my “go to” gin when I want something consistent and reliable. I personally love the really obvious cardamom taste and for me the whole thing just works brilliantly as a classic G&T with a wedge of lime. So many gins now seem to require an unusual garnish to truly express themselves and I can’t always be bothered. So thumbs up ELLC!

Drank a couple GT of this brand at the hotel Citizen M in London. I hope it will taste just as good back in Sweden. Glad that I found the brand on your site. No I cross my fingers.

There are some gins I really like. Some just pass me by. But I'm afraid this is the first gin I positively dislike. It's not just that it's rather sweet (I'm not keen on Plymouth for that amongst other reasons). I'll just be glad when the bottle's finished.
