Harahorn Norwegian Gin Bottling Note

While the Harahorn Norwegian Gin is named after a mountain in Norway, it's also inspired by the story of a hare with horns. A more terrifying prospect has never crossed our minds. Despite striking fear into our hearts, this gin is rather pleasing indeed, making use of Røros juniper berries, Nordmarka blueberries, Grimstad rhubarb and bladderwrack, Oppdal angelica and Sunndal wild marjoram.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Juniper and blueberry always go together handsomely. The subtle tartness of rhubarb plays well the pairing, too.

Smooth, different and crisp.

The best gin I've had!

The best gin I've had! Love the flavors! Bought some in the Oslo airport on my way home this summer, and wish I had bought more. I hope to find it here in the states.

Fresh not Bitter

amazing, fresh with less bitterness than the more traditional gins.

Liqueur, not liquor.

Nice nose, but the palate is far to sweet!!! The makers must have misread liqueur for liquor and dropped the sugar sack into the vat.

Flavorful and Smooth

Smooth, fruity, a pinch sweet. I can drink it on it’s own. I’m 1/2 way finished, and I need more! A bought it at the Copenhagen airport. I didn’t realize I’d love it so much!

Favorite gin hands down

Lots of sweet juniper up front and clean refreshing finish. Tried this with fevertree’s elderflower tonic, sans lime. Wow what a tasty combo!

I would suggest it.

Good taste, changing nuance after a sip. Elegant.

What a surprise this bottle has in it!

I am very pleasantly surprised by the depth of taste that this gin offers. True power in a small albeit beautiful bottle! I can only recommend this to be part of gin lover's collection.

Wonderful!

I love this gin and am looking to purchase some for my bar in Italy. Right now I have 3 bottles as I just returned from Trondheim. It is the best gin I have ever had.
