A burly Navy Strength edition of Dartmouth Gin! Botanicals that reflect the distillery's naval heritage were chosen for this expression, including grains of paradise, star anise, cassia and cardamom. As with the original gin, there's Scots pine and liquorice in there too. Back in 1863, officer training began aboard HMS Britannia on the River Dart, so this tipple is a homage to the naval officers who began their services there.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Creamy, with piney juniper and a big hit of cardamom, as well as a floral bouquet, namely lavender, warming spices, zesty lime and sweet liquorice.
