Dartmouth Navy Strength

A burly Navy Strength edition of Dartmouth Gin! Botanicals that reflect the distillery's naval heritage were chosen for this expression, including grains of paradise, star anise, cassia and cardamom. As with the original gin, there's Scots pine and liquorice in there too. Back in 1863, officer training began aboard HMS Britannia on the River Dart, so this tipple is a homage to the naval officers who began their services there.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Creamy, with piney juniper and a big hit of cardamom, as well as a floral bouquet, namely lavender, warming spices, zesty lime and sweet liquorice.

Reviews for Dartmouth Navy Strength Gin
Deceptively smooth & absolutely delicious
This is an incredible gin, it’s gorgeous over ice, or as a martini. You’d never know it was 57%, it’s so smooth, complex, and intriguing, with citrus complimenting the other bold botanicals. It’s also nice with a splash of Mediterranean tonic and a
wedge of orange. The lid is so satisfying too! 🙃

No surprise that this was the judges favorite in the 2019 Gin Foundry Ginvent Advent Calander
Another terrific gin from Dartmouth Distillery Co. The distiller somehow manages to make gin that is powerful and full flavoured, but ultra smooth - spice and citrus are the key feature. There aren't many 57% ABV gins out there that you can sip on ice. Really good for negronis and dry martinis.

I thought you wouldn’t get any better than Dartmouth English Gin, however this new release is absolutely delicious! A little more citrus and still incredibly smooth!!
