“Sweet baby Jesus, I don’t know what I’m tasting, but it’s a party in my mouth. This gin was in my advent calendar, and after the first mouthful, I ran to my phone to add the full sized bottle to my basket. I can’t quite put my finger on the notes I’m getting; it’s like a woody, peppery heaven. It just works. I have tried many, many gins and consider myself to be a bit of a snob as nothing ever catches my fancy…until I tasted this. I am hooked! Please don’t ever stop producing this beauty.”

Description
A cask-aged London dry gin from the Cotwolds distillery, bottled by That Boutique-y Gin Company. This has been aged in both first-fill ex-bourbon casks and ex-red wine casks, resulting in a bold flavour profile combining rich fruit and well-defined oak notes. The science of cask-ageing continues to be awesome, even if it does elicit maniacal laughter from distillers and spontaneous lightning storms...
Batch 1 is a release of 815 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
The toasty cask influence boosts the woody juniper notes. Waxy orange and cinnamon-dusted plum.
Palate
White peach, rounded red berries and sweet cinnamon notes once again. Oak resin hints develop later on.
Finish
Well-balanced hints of creamy vanilla, cantaloupe and cracked black pepper.
Overall
A full-bodied, resinous cask-aged treat.
