Cornish Rock has gone and bottled the best of summer in this Orange Sunset Gin. Distilled in small batches, the spirit marries all the usual suspects with the addition of pink peppercorns and citrus peel. Rather unusually, it's then matured in a vat with the addition of Valencia orange peel for three months. The citrusy gin is bottled at 42% ABV, boasting a warm orange hue, and should do very well with either tonic or ginger ale, with a wedge of orange on the side for good measure. If there is a sunset in sight, that wouldn't go amiss either.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Peppery juniper underpins the spirit, with a hit of sweet, juicy orange, more subtle citrus notes and a warming, slightly spiced finish.
