Broker's Gin Bottling Note

A fine and tasty gin which has been lauded by critics, Broker's is made with herbs, spices and fruits imported from three continents and blended to be extra dry - yes, that's right people, this is Martini heaven…

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very herbal, and almost medicinal but in a very good way. Hints of sticking plasters meld well with rosy red apples, tangy citrus and cardamom. Very inviting indeed…

Palate: Crisp and very dry, green oak, tree sap, parsley, lavendar soap and juniper.

Finish: Long and bittering with sweet spices and berries. Moreish!

Absolutely amazing

So just to give you an idea of what your getting yourself into once you buy this gin: I arrived home with my girl, a little skeptical because of the price, but I rinsed my mouth out, and took a small swig in my mouth. She looked at me, expecting me to spit it in the sink, but all I could say was: “oh god...this...this is going to get me into trouble...last time I tasted an alcohol this good I didn’t buy anything else for 3 months.”

Great tasting.

Best English Gin I've had in a long time. Martinis-yes, The best tonic & fresh lime-yes. Oh and that derby; caught my eye on the shelf. This gin is now a staple in my spirit repertoire.

Taste of it’s own -and you want that!!!

Mtn Dew. Yup. But thats when I need to reduce the sippen. This has a very unusual but welcome taste compared to Tanq and Sapphire. I really think it is a sippin’ gin, I do that too. But the flavor after taste is really standing out when mixed with Dew.

Most elegant dry gin out there!

We are ardent admirers, imbibers, and supporters of Brokers Gin. We only will accept Tanqueray as an alternate, but prefer the elegance and dryness of Brokers bar none!

Super elegant gin.

Alongside Bulldog and No. 3 this is my favourite gin when I mix [with either Dolin Dry or Noilly Prat] it to prepare a martini.

Just buy it ......

Great taste with all sorts going on - in a good way, great with tonic, stands up for comparison against some gins at twice the price, great value

My house gin!

I've been seriously into gin for a couple years, now, trying just about every gin I come across, high and low. Currently, my "gin library" holds a couple dozen brands--while I've started to cycle back to purchase some brands again. "Broker's" is certainly one of them. It works so reliably with any of the old Prohibition-era cocktail recipes I like to try--and yields a terrific G&T (about the only gin request I'll get from a guest). I love specialty gins with unusual flavors (eg, Hendrick's, Nolet's), but Broker's offers a classic, trumpet-bright flavor that handles anything you'd expect a gin to do. And for the price--wow, it's as good as some other London Drys at 30-50% more money. It's my standard.

Best Martini

3 oz Brokers , 1 dash orange bitters , 3/4 oz fresh dry vermouth , garnish with queen olive and lemon twist .
Heaven in a few minutes . The Gin is perfect with tonic also .

Superb gin, smooth. Not usually a gin drinker, but my son bought me a bottle for Christmas. Glad he did, this is officially my favourite new found drink

My favourite of the classic dry

Disclaimer: My local liquor store was selling everything at cost today to move inventory and this was the only gin I hadn't yet tried. I'm much more fond of small batch, craft distilleries and love the ones here in BC and Washington State. That said, this is the first London dry I've really loved. It's clean and crisp yet smooth at the same time. So far, I've only had it with Canada Dry Lemon Lime soda water and some lime but it has zero bitterness to it. I can still taste the notes underneath but it fits in well with the citrus. Too bad this wasn't a gin bars around here stocked!

A great gin. Love the flavour and aroms. Wish it was available in the shops

A Classic

This is my new favorite gin, and I think it's the best gin, period. Honestly, I wasn't too thrilled with London Dry, which usually means a domineering juniper note, but this is so well balanced, so complex it's amazing, especially considering it's based on a classic recipe.

There's nothing goofy in this gin --it's just old school gin done as a perfectionist would do it.

This is also very smooth, with almost no bite.

Muy bueno

Muy bueno, mejor que Bombay, Beefetear y Gordons, despues de Hendricks el mejor gin que he probado. Recomiendo.

Honesty is the best policy

Purchased on a whim from a Spanish supermarket, as I used to live just down the road from where it is distilled in Twickenham. This is everything a London Dry Gin ought to be. A very 'honest' and perfectly balanced flavour. As such it seems to go well with everything and is ideal for cocktails, as it has no domineering aspects to upset the balance. The heavily flavoured ( and expensive!) weirdos are enjoyable on an occasional basis, but Broker's is a perfect everyday high quality gin - it will never pall.

Best for gin based cocktails. Period.

Unlike many gins which want to create stories of their own, this one really stick to what gin should be like.

24th October 2014

One of my favourites

I've been on a bit of a gin exposition, trying out the ranges available and was given a Bottle of Broker's Gin. I think I would have to class it as one of the best in my collection, besting much more expensive ones. It has a simple clean flavour without being bland and make perfect G&Ts.

Light & crisp

Great value, with a dry green apple, citrus and juniper taste, would be fantastically refreshing G&T on a summers day

Best Gin on earth ... Fact

So predominant in Juniper, yet so perfectly balanced with exactly the right amount of citrus, a touch of licorice sweetness and an excellent amount of cinnamon spice ... Award winning on so many levels
