Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Very herbal, and almost medicinal but in a very good way. Hints of sticking plasters meld well with rosy red apples, tangy citrus and cardamom. Very inviting indeed…

Palate Crisp and very dry, green oak, tree sap, parsley, lavendar soap and juniper.

Finish Long and bittering with sweet spices and berries. Moreish!

Best flavor, smooth warmth.
My favorite. To me, it makes a great Martini. I like the just right juniper forward taste. Really good over ice. Too good for G &T (Gordon’s for that).

Very smooth, tasty, good heat
Very satisfying, tasty and smooth all by itself and a little ice. Even excellent sipping neat- definitely NOT “all hat and no beef”. Then there’s the price- a. cheap indulgence!

Amazing for the price
It is full bodied but smooth. All the classic gin flavour of juniper, licorice, citrus fruit. Slightly sweet, almost Old Tom-like in its ancient glory. I prefer it to some that cost twice as much. A classic for G and T.

Tasty, smooth and affordable...
Smooth, fresh, not overpowering. Makes a great gin and tonic. Go light on the tonic, and the flavors really shine. I actually like Gordon's more, but it's still a good buy. Highly recommended.

Cheap and far more than cheeful
I love this with Pink Peppercorn tonic and a slice of lemon. You can't beat it for the price and it is SO much better than the big sellers you can normally get for a similar price.

Crap.
I am sure it tastes lovely but the bottle was bloody impossible to open! Had to do it with several kitchen implements.
