    Bombay Sapphire

Bombay Sapphire is distilled in England and is made with a base of neutral spirits that are distilled from wheat and malt. The gin is then flavoured with a blend of ten botanical ingredients using a slow infusion process, including juniper berries, coriander seeds, citrus peel, and liquorice root. Bombay Sapphire is perfectly balanced and is bottled at 40% ABV.

The Bombay Sapphire brand was launched in 1987 by Allied Domecq. The gin is a premium product, with a distinctive blue bottle which has helped it to stand out from the crowd. In recent years, Bombay Sapphire has seen renewed interest from cocktail enthusiasts and bartenders who appreciate its complex flavour profile.

Bombay Sapphire is best enjoyed in a classic Gin and Tonic or Martini. It can also be used in creative cocktails that highlight its unique flavour characteristics.

How to make a Bombay Sapphire Gin and Tonic:

Fill a balloon glass to the rim with large cubed ice, pour over 50ml of Bombay Sapphire, squeeze a wedge of fresh lime into the drink and drop into the glass, and top with 100ml of premium tonic water.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Light and piney juniper, with soft peppery warmth building. Subtle sweetness of sugared almond and angelica develops, still packed with herbaceousness.

    Great stuff

Don’t listen to the cork sniffers. This is excellent for the price and makes a great martini or tonic. Enjoy in the sun.

Overpriced "classic" that doesn't deserve it's position at all

I've seen this gin being sold in Italy for 12€ and that's in my opinion what it may be worth. At the maximum. I really don't like the liquorice-angelica finish in bombay, for me it makes a nasty G&T, not refreshing at all. Every gin that concentrates more on just juniper is better that this. If you're not a big fan of juniper, then I'd suggest Malfy con limone. Or just any other "contemporary" gin

Don't get taken in by the pretty bottle

Right down there with Gordon's as one of the worst gins out there. The fact that it's a bit more expensive than the former probably leads me to put this on the bottom of the pile. There's so many better gins out there.

    Martini Time !!

My go to gin for the perfect Dirty Martini. Delicious peppery and herbal notes that meld well with dry vermouth and olive juice. Add a few olives and Bam!!! Lesser gins do not off the punch needed for this drink. Those who buy this gin for the color of the bottle will be more appreciative of what's inside.

    After work go to

The flavour can be odd for some. It balances out perfectly with fever free lemon tonic and lots of ice to keep it cool. Fell in love with this combo summertime in the beer gardens in my local town. Perfect for every occasion, and something to look forward to after a long day at work
