Blackdown Hills sounds like a terrifying place where Gandalf would have done battle against a slightly eviler wizard, but it's actually where the fantastic Blackdown Sussex Dry Gin is produced. Awarded a Gold medal in the Premium category of The Spirits Business Gin Masters 2013.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Strong juniper and lemon whiffs.

Palate

The earth rises very well, almost overpowering the mouth if it were not for the juniper and citrus.

Finish

The woody notes calm down for a smooth and fruity finish. Quite a wild ride that we'd happy go on again.
