Produced in the Netherlands, Black Tomato Gin is made using black tomatoes as well as a few drops of sea water! Shows off a fascinating balance between sweet and savoury flavours - and ought to be excellent in a Red Snapper.
Herbaceous at first, before delicate vegetal sweetness builds and builds. Flakes of sea salt develop on the mid-palate.

Clearly mixed reviews about this, BUT it is gin with a light tomato taste, I added some light desert chilli from Cambodia and wow brilliant, would understand the basil and dried tomato option and will try it on the weekend.
A very good gin. I understand the negative reviews. For people who are not very experienced it's maybe too strange. It's innovative; it takes time and a lot of gin to appreciatie that.
Steak and Salsa.
Sorry this Gin is disgusting :(
I was 'treated' to a glass of this gin as part of a gin tasting night. Presumably someone thought it was a good idea to take along the bottle for its novelty value, either that or they'd been given it as a secret Santa. Unfortunately no one told me it was called Black Tomato. I spent the next half hour trying to get the taste out of my mouth. I don't really know how to explain the taste, but calling it a gin is a stretch too far in my book.
