A traditionally juniper-forward gin all the way from Yorkshire. Alongside the spicy, pine-y juniper, expect to find hints of waxy orange and wafts of floral lavender sweetness. Ought to be good for your G&Ts...
Fragrant and enjoyably woodsy, with layers of fresh florals and citrus peels developing.
Difficult to detect the lavender unless it accounts for the slightly bitter aftertaste (not unpleasant) but juniper predominates and I could not find the orange or citrus spoken of in the M of M report. Not a bad gin , and gave a different twist to a Dry Martini with Dolin Vermouth. Doesn’t stand out as special like e.g. Whittaker’s so probably won’t buy again. Would have more confidence if those who make it were transparent about where, who, etc.
Basic gin with a hefty price tag. Best of the range but forgettable in its blandness.
Bland, not very pleasant. Might use the rest to clean the patio...
Probably my favourite Yorkshire 'dry gin' - it's so smooth!
Was unsure about this but having tried it there is a wonderful but subtle flavour of liquorice with a hint of citrus. Paired with a light tonic there is nothing better to enjoy on an evening to freshen you up!
