Adnams Dry Gin

This cracking gin from Adnams is distilled in a beer stripping column before being put through a handmade copper pot still. It is then purified in a rectifier, resulting in a very creamy and rich spirit, although at this point it isn’t yet technically a gin! To complete the final stage, it is then infused with six botanicals including juniper, cardamom pod, sweet orange and hibiscus flowers. Adnams Copper House Gin is perfect for a Dirty Martini.

Reviews for Adnams Copper House Dry Gin
One I keep coming back to
I discovered copper house gin a while back and really enjoyed it. Yet it was only after digging out the bottle having tried several other - and more exotic - gins that I really started to appreciate just how damned good this gin is. It's great as a long G&T, but can also stand its own as a shorter drink. It had a lovely distinctive flavour without veering off into the weird and wonderful. In short it's a classic and one I wouldn't want to be without a bottle of.

Lovely, smooth with great flavour.
As with mainly other reviewers here, I agree, for £27 this is a very nice gin. It's smooth but has a lovely warming after glow. Mixed with orange peel or blood orange, the subtle spice hints are very prominent. Change the mixer/garnish and it changes the result but still comes through great.

An excellent and « moreish » gin.
I was sent this as a present from a friend and is completely new to me. I absolutely love it! Such delicate flavours, a dry somewhat floral taste with a hint of spice which I couldn’t put my finger on. I gather it is cardamom! I shall most definitely buy again and am tempted to try the pink gin variety also.

Top quality gin
Very delicious birthday gift from my non drinking friend. She chose well because it was Utterly beautiful. All of my family enjoyed this gin, very crisp and citrusy. Wonderful with a high end tonic water and a slice of lime.

Great
I've just started a gin exploration (I'm usually a vodka guy) and this is my second one and if I find they are all like this I'll be happy. Nice and dry and citrusy, great neat or with a good tonic, and a frozen lime slice

Goes on and on taste
Absolutely distinctive, absolutely beautiful...found it at the weekend and went through the bottle at the expense of all my other gins...a great gin with a continuing after taste that is enjoyable

Unique character, spot-on balance
Outstanding, and truly superb in a martini: dry or wet, the velvety vanilla notes of this terrific gin shine through. Balance is perfect, with no hint of being a novelty concoction, unlike some craft gins on the market. Too good for a G&T? Perhaps, perhaps not...
