Sherry
This batch of cask-aged Bathtub Gin bottled by That Boutique-y Gin Company was aged in a specially coopered 50-litre hybrid cask! Staves from both Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks were used, and this new cask then held Invergordon single grain whisky for several months prior to it being used for gin. Not something you see every day!
Batch 14 is a limited release of 93 bottles.
A sweeter edge than many of these single cask releases with vanilla, dates, citrus and some cardamom supporting.
A wonderful combination of rich Sherried notes (sultana, cocoa) with some sharper citrus juice cutting through all above a juniper core.
