The Ruddy Fine Distillery story started simply. Cheryl and her partner were chatting over gin cocktails. They both loved gin. This led to them creating their own gin brand years later.
Their fascination with gin's flavours and making methods drove them. They wanted to make something to pass on to future generations. They began by steeping local botanicals. They used a small 5-litre copper still in their kitchen.
Now, their operations have grown but stay true to their artisanal roots. Based in Ruddington, a village in Nottinghamshire, Ruddy Fine Distillery is a small-scale producer. They develop gin flavours at home. They then produce them in batches of 350 bottles at their distillery. Their still, 'Marion', is key to this process.

Their hard work has won them many awards. This includes Great Taste Awards and international honours. The Grocer magazine named them a contender for Best New Alcohol Product of 2021. They were the first Guest Gin in the Houses of Parliament.
