Lilo Drinks is well-known for its unique Botanical Spirits. These are made by a respected family-run distillery on Scotland's East Coast. The spirits are key to Lilo’s popular Hard Seltzers.
The company realised the potential of their Botanical Spirit. They used the White Grape and Elderflower Hard Seltzer base to make Lilo Zing. This drink is a refreshing gin alternative. It marks Lilo's entry into the spirits market.
Creating these drinks involved a lot of trials with various botanicals. Lewis and his team worked hard. They aimed to make drinks that are flavourful, natural, and low in calories and alcohol.
Lilo has also partnered with artist Maria Rivans. She is known for blending Surrealism and Pop-Art. Rivans creates from her Brighton studio, once a small cinema. Her art has been shown in the UK and abroad, including at London's Saatchi Gallery and Galerie Bhak in Seoul.
Rivans designed the branding. It features oversized fruits, botanicals, and urban scenes. This design reflects themes of escapism and holidays. Her style adds to the brand's visual appeal. It highlights the drinks' unique character.
Rivans also published her first book in 2020. It is called "Extraordinary Things to Cut Out and Collage". This book and her work with Lilo show her artistic talent. Together, they have created a brand that is as visually striking as it is delicious.
