Cutters

Roger and Kim, a couple from San Francisco, moved to Barbados for a new start. They drove to the east coast in Roger’s 1971 Eldorado and then flew to the Caribbean. Barbados, with its stunning views and great weather, gave them a peaceful place for family life.

In Barbados, they started Cutters of Barbados. It came from their love of Caribbean food, drinks, and hospitality. They first ran it from their home. Now, it's in a place with a deli and hammock garden.

They spent a lot of time at Harrismith beach. There, they perfected their rum punch recipe. They wanted to share a bit of Barbados with the world.

Cutters is famous for its Very Special Rum Punch. It's a top Caribbean rum punch. It follows a 1600s recipe from the Goddard family: 1 of bitter, 2 of sweet, 3 of strong, and 4 of weak. It's a careful mix of Caribbean ingredients, including their Harrismith Rum. This gives it a rich Barbadian flavour.

Cutters offers a Rum Punch Masters Mixology Class. It's two hours and includes lunch. Attendees make and take home a litre of Very Special Rum Punch.

Customers can also try mixing with the Very Special Rum Punch Mix. It has all the non-alcoholic ingredients. This lets them add their own touch.

Harrismith Rum is named after the beach that inspired them. It's a Caribbean golden rum. It keeps its flavours well in mixes. It has notes of charred barrels and young sugarcane. It's great for cocktails or a glass of Very Special rum punch.

Cutters of Barbados shows Roger and Kim's journey and love for Barbados. They want to share the island's flavours and hospitality. Their brand captures the Caribbean spirit and island life.
