A truly magnificent example of Borderies Cognac, this beauty was sourced by Hermitage from an old cellar to the north of Cognac. The independent bottlers were fortunate enough to obtain a complete bonbonne (a type of big glass carboy) for bottling, which means a lucky few of you will now have the pleasure of sampling this rare distilled all the way back in 1914! It was bottled at 43% ABV and presented in a charming red gift box.

Imagine you are standing in a French barn at the beginning of the First World War. Damp. Earthy. Woody. Been there for an age. You need to drink some before you go to the front. This is what this Cognac is like. You cannot fake this age. You cannot fake the taste.
