From the prestigious House of Hennessy comes its classic VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) expression. The VSOP designation indicates that the youngest eau-de-vie in the blend is aged for at least four years, though many of the Cognacs used are older. Hennessy VSOP has a rich history dating back to its first creation in 1817, when it was made as a special order for the future King George IV of Great Britain, making it one of the earliest examples of a VSOP cognac.
