Fanny Fougerat Hors-Série Le Notoire
This is a limited edition Hors d'Age (minimum age 10 years but usually much older) from Fanny Fougerat. This comes from a single parcel based in the Fins Bois sub-region. It was aged for 40 years in French oak before bottling at 44.8% ABV. This is a very special Cognac.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Fresh fruit on the nose with pears, apples and peaches,and richer dried fruit and tobacco notes. On the palate there's toffee, tobacco, baking spices, rich shortbread, stone fruit, vanilla, and almond.
