“This is a cracking spirit. I've tried a few cognacs in my time in this price bracket, but this is something else! It's like a cognac and a whiskey got together for one magical night and this was the result. Top, top stuff!”

Bache Gabrielsen American Oak

America and France meet in this somewhat unusual Coganc from Bache Gabrielsen! As well as an initial ageing in French oak, the Cognac has also been finished in new American Tennessee oak barrels for six months, hence its name. Look out for some wonderful tropical notes among the more traditional chocolate and nuttiness you find in the spirit.

Notes of creamy coconut and oaky vanilla, with oily toasted nuts, chocolate-coated raisin and a tang of passion fruit.
