A VSOP Calvados from producers, Coquerel. This Calvados was made from approximately 40 different apple and pear varieties, and naturally fermented for a minimum of 30 days. After distillation in traditional copper stills the Calvados was rested in French oak foudres for three to six months before maturing for four years in heavily toasted French oak casks, bringing some lovely spice, tannins, and smoky notes to the orchard fruit core.
