Produced in Armenia, Ararat Akhtamar is a 10 year old brandy with a rich, fruity flavour. The brandy is made with a selection of wines and pure spring water.
Sweet, spicy nose. Hints of vanilla and plum jam. Toffee and a little potpourri.
Rounded, creamy palate entry. Notes of sultanas and creamy vanilla. Dried apricots.
Cinnamon and toasted oak.
I give this one to my guests who are not fans of cognac/brandy...it instantly wins them over.
