A Spanish brandy from Spanish Oak, proving once again that brandy definitely wasn't made to gather dust at the back of the drinks cabinet. It's made from Pedro Ximénez grapes, and aged in a solera system in American oak sherry-seasoned barrels. There's absolutely none of that colouring or sweetener business over here, just great tasting brandy. The Pedro Ximénez grapes make for a sweeter than usual flavour profile, and it's more than ideal for mixing.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
A touch of oak spice kicks things off, with a drizzle of caramel, with distinctive notes of grape and a handful of dried fruit sweetness lingering.
