Carlos I Imperial XO Bottling Note

At the apex of the spectacular Carlos I selection of Spanish brandies sits their Imperial XO expression. Aged in a Solera system featuring casks that previously held Oloroso and Amontillado Sherries, this expression has been made using brandies that have age for up to 20 years!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Earthy and rich at first, with tobacco and old oak up front. As it develops, sweetness of fresh figs, dates and a hint of raspberry arrives on the palate. Caramel-coated nuts and clove heat.

Carlos I Imperial XO Reviews

A outstanding XO

An outstanding XO from Carlos, just looking at the bottle, you know it contains something quite special. The First thing I noticed, was how heavy the stopper was when removing from the bottle. The tasting note by the Chaps at Master of Malt, is spot on. It’s a Brandy to be savoured and enjoyed and not rushed, it is for special occasions a truly outstanding Brandy, if this was a Cognac, it would (in my option) cost twice as much.
