Bittermens Hellfire Habanero Bitters

Bittermens Hellfire Bottling Note

Some very interesting cocktail bitters from Bittermens in America (we probably could say that about everything they come out with), their Hellfire Habanero Shrub Bitters are made with a classic vinegar-based shrub at the core. However, instead of making a fruit shrub, they've gone and made a Habanero pepper shrub, which is fortified with alcohol and concentrated, so it can be used as you would regular bitters. These will add a good burst of fiery heat to your cocktails without knocking the balance of your drink out of whack.

Bittermens Hellfire Habanero Bitters Reviews

Hot stuff

These are great fun product - the only thing that hold me back from giving them 5 stars is that you have to put lots of drops in your drink to feel them.

This is more given to the fact that Bittermens come with a dropper top rather than a dasher but they could be stronger - precision is probably preferable.

If you're curious what to try them in, anything whiskey based works well - the Albuquerque Old Fashioned is great. I also put them in beer.
