The 12 Year Old Bas Armagnac from Chateau de Laubade has been influenced rather heavily by the Baco grapes in the blend, along with the Ugni Blanc, Colombard and the Folle Blanche varieties. The result is a handsome expression, with plenty of power behind its flavour profile while still maintaining elegance.
Spicy oak and anise, with layers of apricot and damson mellowing the heat. A touch of black tea, too.
