This VS Bas Armagnac is produced by the Castarède Armagnac House, one of the oldest Armagnac producers in France, from a blend of eaux-de-vie that have been aged for at least 3 years. The Folle Blanche distillate in this blend comes from Castarède's estate's own vineyard, located in Bas- Armagnac.
Floral and fragrant at first, this Armagnac then develops into richer, fruitier territory with lots of blackcurrant and some creamy nutty qualities.
