Inspired by Swiss absinthe comes this English absinthe from English Spirit's Treguddick distillery in Cornwall! A whole load of herbs and spices are distilled – think wormwood, anise, fennel and more – before being macerated and sous vide, infusing all the complex flavours into the spirit. It's then bottled at a bracing 72% ABV, so use this one sparingly! The team behind the absinthe recommend serving it with an equal measure of water, pouring the water over a sugar cube to add a touch of sweetness.
Leafy and herbaceous, with chewy liquorice, bitter woodiness, and a zing of citrus.
