Tomintoul Caribbean Rum Cask Finish
Created by Tomintoul's master distiller Robert Fleming, this single malt initially matured in a selection of bourbon casks before being married and finished in Caribbean rum barrels. A decadent sipper with notes of brown sugar, coconut cream, and cakey spice, we can imagine this working rather well in cocktails too!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vibrant malt and sweet florals are joined by buttery pastry and coconut husks.
Palate
Caramelised brown sugar, sweet cinnamon, and nutty nougat, with chocolate honeycomb and cakey spices gathering beneath.
Finish
Buttery fudge, cocoa, charred oak, and sweet baking spice.
