Tomatin's Cuatro range was unveiled in 2014, and features four single malt bottlings, all distilled on the same day, matured in American oak casks for nine years, and then finished in four different types of Sherry cask for three years. Incidentally, 'Cuatro' is the Spanish word for "four" - rather fitting for this series, don't you think?
This is the Cuatro #1, which was finished in first-fill Fino Sherry casks, imparting spicy, savoury and well structured citrus notes.
1,500 bottles of each of the Cuatro bottlings were produced.
