Very smooth, surprised by the low ratings. Perfect sweetness and not too charred.
I'm wondering what The Chaps are drinking. Rubbed petals? Marmalade? I mostly review undestilled beer, but here goes... Vanilla, virgin white oak and a modest measure of peaty loch water in the nose. No bourbon here; just loads of vanilla and that light peat component. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel. More peat, toffee, vanilla and fa light splash of white and dry fortified wine in the flavor. Lingering fuzzy fruit in the warming finish. BAM.
Got this much cheaper than posted on here and I'm loving it. Has a lovely pear flavor thatReminds me of glenlivet 12 but more oak, smoother and with some nice sherry notes. If you can get this cheaper it is great but I don't know if I would pay over $70 for this it is a 10 year. The sugarbear
This is my first try of this brand. It is better then a 16 yr old from another maker I have had. Good nose and holds up well in the $50 range. It has a very strong spirit finish that lingers, reminds me that I am drinking Scotch. I like it.
This is very very good. One tastes like four and I have to drive home.
