Part of the super-popular Sherry Oak range from The Macallan Distillery, this 25 Year Old Sherry Oak was matured exclusively in hand-picked, sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. As you would expect, it's an absolute beauty.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose The aroma begins with deeply delectable sherried notes of blackcurrant coulis, fresh apricot jam and a drizzle of huckleberry honey. Rich, sweet spices, old, leather-bound books and bouquet of English summer flowers provide a complex backdrop.

Palate Black treacle, dried figs and bramble fruit lead before baking spices, gingerbread and a touch of light smoke emerges. There's cigar box, oily walnut and chewy oak underneath.

Finish A smattering of salty vanilla, delicately balanced with barley and very soft oak, lingers.
