10-year-old Tamnavulin here! Distilled in 2008, the whisky matured in a refill bourbon barrel and was independently bottled by Dràm Mòr. A release of 225 bottles at a satisfying 55.3% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet layers of orchard fruits and liquorice, with notes of overripe tropical fruits, vanilla, and fragrant oaken spice.
Palate
Silky layers of caramel and vanilla cream, buttery oak, and golden syrup with delicate pepper creeping in beneath.
Finish
Soft spice brings gentle heat alongside lingering sweetness.
