From flour mill to flavour bomb – this 28-year-old Strathmill was finished in red wine barriques from Saint-Julien in Bordeaux. It’s a Speysider that’s taken a detour through a French château and come back wearing velvet loafers.
Red currants, cigar box, stewed prunes.
Chocolate malt, raspberry coulis, set honey, clove.
Mocha cream, dried cranberry, oaky warmth.
