‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Pungent barley at first, opening to mixed nuts, sugar coated almonds and tangerine with time in the glass and a drop of water.
Honeyed raspberries and hay, walnut, granary toast and a touch of mint leaf.
Chocolatey oak and hints of red fruit.


The nose and flavours are great without water but a little overpowered by the ABV. I found it a little too musty and bitter on the finish after adding water. The 'Inception' inspired label is apt - big, bold, impressive but might raise eyebrows if you think about it too much.
