Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.

I thought it was not bad - better than Jameson in terms of flavor, and with less burn. A good baseline to judge others by I'd say...Which is just another way of saying it's nothing too special. Solid with Sprite or on the rocks
Taste horrible
Perfect tasty Whisky
A simple Whiskey. Little to no flavour initially on the palate, then finishes sweet with a medium whiskey heat. Seems to me they use a fake Vanilla flavouring.
I really wanted to like this and just plain couldn't. This is an awful whiskey. Harsh on the front and non existent on the back, like gargling rubbing alcohol that your wife spelled a bit of her vanilla latte in. It's bad. Sorry Mr McGregor
