Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.
Not good at all
This whiskey is below generic, as you open the bottle it's mild on the nose but when you drink it neat no mixer the "vanilla, honey like sweetness/ toasted wood" is totally absent. There are much better Irish whiskey's out there, this stuff is a gimmick pretending to be Irish whiskey.
McGregor is used parts. The whiskey is good.
Honestly, idgaf about whose name is associated with it. This is a solid, smooth whiskey with a decent taste and a smooth finish. You can hate on a name, but let’s be real, this is a quality offering from a not so pleasant person.
Lovely drop full of flavor and easy to drink Reminds me of JW Gold
