The yearly Paul John Christmas Edition whisky has arrived! This excellent Indian single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, Port, and Madeira casks, offering up a host of festive flavours that most certainly suit a post-Christmas dinner dram. Always excited to see more expressions from the Paul John team in Goa.
Nose: Butterscotch, sweet peat smoke, almond, sultanas and raisins.
Palate: More dried fruit, with candied peels and ginger, followed by waves of vanilla and allspice.
Finish: Softly toasted cedar, cinnamon, a smidge of dark chocolate.
