North British 14 Year Old 2007 - Select Grain (Murray McDavid)
Gorgeous single grain from the North British distillery, independently bottled by Murray McDavid. Predominantly aged in a bourbon hogshead, it was then moved to American oak whiskey casks from Koval Distillery in Chicago for a two-and-a-half-year finishing period. That's not something we've seen before! It was bottled for the Select Grain series with an outturn of 849 bottles, with heaps more creaminess imparted from the cask finish.

Nose
Super creamy porridge, with fresh croissant and warming oak.
Palate
Sweet grain oiliness, coffee ice cream, and orange Starburst.
Finish
Sweetly spiced, with another dollop of vanilla.
