Mannochmore 12 Year Old 2010 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
Here's a Mannochmore from Strictly Limited range from Càrn Mòr, the independent bottling arm of Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. This Speyside distillery is one of Diageo's workhorses so its rarely seen as a single malt. The whisky sniffer-outers at Càrn Mòr have managed to get their hands on some distilled in 2010 and aged in bourbon hogsheads for 12 years before bottling at 47% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orchard fruit, oaty cereal notes and vanilla, with toffee and baking spices.
Palate
Green fruit and orange peel with pepper, cloves and cardamom mingling with caramel and custard notes.
Finish
Long and sweet with toffee and milk chocolate.
