Description
13 year old single malt from the marvellous Macduff Distillery, brought to us by indie bottler Heroes & Heretics. Matured in a single cask between April 2008 and October 2021, when a total of 276 bottles of this hearty Highlander were released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttered shortbread, salted almonds, crisp green apple, and vanilla fudge.
Palate
Fruity raisins, hints of apricot, with rich barley and salted caramel softening warm notes of pepper and ginger.
Finish
Zesty dried fruits, floral blossom honey, underlying garden herbs bring more peppery warmth alongside sweet, oaken spice.
