We've got our hands on a fantastic 30 year old single malt from the legendary Macallan distillery and have independently bottled it up for our Single Cask Series! This Speysider was distilled all the way back in October 1988 and was left to rest in a single bourbon hogshead for three decades, before being bottled in November 2018. We don't chill-filter or add any additional colouring to our Single Cask Series bottlings, so you'll just be enjoying the tasty whisky. This one is very much that.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Salted caramel brownies, honey-drenched brioche, chocolate ice cream, floral barley and citrus blossom, marmalade, a hint of tobacco leaf.
Palate
Mature oak and new leather, nutmeg, apricot pastries, ginger snaps, golden syrup, chewy dates.
Finish
Oily walnut, marzipan, runny honey, red apple, continued oak influence bringing warmth to the long finish.
