We got our hands on a fantastic 30-year-old single malt from the legendary Macallan distillery and independently bottled it up for our Single Cask Series! Distilled back in October 1988, the whisky matured in a single bourbon hogshead for three decades before being bottled in November 2018. We don't chill-filter or add any additional colouring to our Single Cask Series bottlings, so you'll just be enjoying the tasty whisky. This one is very much that.
Salted caramel brownies, honey-drenched brioche, chocolate ice cream, floral barley and citrus blossom, marmalade, a hint of tobacco leaf.
Mature oak and new leather, nutmeg, apricot pastries, ginger snaps, golden syrup, chewy dates.
Oily walnut, marzipan, runny honey, red apple, continued oak influence bringing warmth to the long finish.
